BREYER CellProtect is a complete extrusion line for the economical production of EVA, POE and EPE encapsulant films for photovoltaic modules. The specially developed process combines exceptionally low film shrinkage with market-leading output of up to 1,200 kg/h.

During lamination, the encapsulant film surrounds and protects the sensitive solar cells between glass and glass or between glass and a backsheet. Low film shrinkage is essential to prevent cell displacement and ensure reliable processing and consistent module quality.

CellProtect combines low shrinkage with high production capacity. No additional post-annealing oven or interlayer film is required, reducing energy consumption, material use and process steps. BREYER supplies the complete extrusion line, including proven process recipes, service and opportunities for material trials.
