Breyer Christmas Letter 2018

Singen, December 2018

Der business partners and friends of BREYER,

Looking back on the year 2018, the unfortunately numerous conflicts in the international community show us that intentional confrontation and provocation quickly trigger the appropriate counteractions. Much too often this hinders further development in the spirit of finding a common solution and not only burdens the people but also the economic relationships between the countries, regions, and partners concerned.

May the following story remind us that we always have a choice as to how we deal with such situations and how we can influence future coexistence with our attitude:

An old American Indian sat by the campfire with his grandson. Night had fallen over the land, and the fire crackled while the flames flickered and darted up high into the sky.

After a while of silence, the old man said to his grandson: “You know, sometimes I feel as if two wolves are fighting with each other in my heart. One of them is vengeful, aggressive, and cruel. The other, however, is loving, soft, and compassionate.”

The boy asked: “Which one of them will win the fight for your heart?”
And the old Indian answered him: “The wolf I am feeding.”

In this past year, we were blessed to have had many positive experiences in the cooperation with our business partners and clients worldwide, and we are very grateful for them.

We therefore want to thank you at the end of 2018 for the successful cooperation characterized by trust and mutual partnership. We would be more than happy to receive your trust in the new year, as well.

We wish you and your loved ones a peaceful and blessed Christmas holiday and the peace and quiet to gather renewed strength for the challenges and tasks ahead of you in 2019.
